I thought about writing this post but I didn't want it to be political..... It's not.
We are at the Sturgis Rally and stopped in at One Eyed Jack's Saloon down...town. We were at the outside bar area with several hundred bikers of all walks of life. A couple of young female scantily clad bartenders jump up on one of the bars with a microphone... My first thought was "Coyote Ugly"... What happened next was surprising. One of them started singing the national anthem Acapella. Everyone stopped drinking and stood up. Most with hands over hearts. Not one person said a word.... And not one person kneeled (although that would not have gone over well by my guess)...
When she finished and everyone cheered.... The pledge of allegiance broke out and EVERYONE recited it.
At the end.... Everyone cheered and then went back to what they were doing.

Young
Old
All colors and race
Men and women
It brought back memories of 9/11 when we all celebrated being just Americans
Nothing political
No anger
No demonstrations
I miss that!!
 
Goodyear Bans ‘Blue Lives Matter’ and MAGA Slogans, Allows Black Lives Matter

A leaked slide from a Goodyear diversity training session shows the company has decided what the “acceptable” and “unacceptable” slogans are for employees to support.

The slide is part of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company’s zero-tolerance policy, which has deemed “Blue Lives Matter,” “All Lives Matter,” “MAGA Attire,” and “Politically Affiliated Slogans or Material” as “unacceptable.”

Those slogans that are “acceptable” to the company included “Black Lives Matter (BLM)” and “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride (LGBT).

I saw this story but didn't post it because... why? So many companies are doing the same. What do You Expect From a Company Who Outsourced A Massive Factory to Communist China and Does Business Using Troubled, Corrupt, Globalist Cabal Deutsche Bank?

It doesn’t matter that he had a police record as long as my arm. Domestic violence, strangulation, battery, felony crime, use of a dangerous weapon, carrying a ...concealed weapon, 3rd degree sexual assault. (Twice this charge, one in 2016 and one last month - 3rd degree sexual assault....twice)
And on and on, not to mention an active arrest warrant. Not to mention the domestic violence he was engaging in which is why the police were called in the first place.
What does matter is his resisting arrest. His failure to follow ANY directions from the police. He does not comply. He blatantly ignores the police while they have their weapons drawn and proceeds to his car and attempts to reach in. The cop has him by his shirt telling him to stop. He does NOT STOP.
What in Gods name do you expect the police to do? A career criminal, active warrant, resisting arrest and ignoring everything the police say, they should sit back and see what kind of weapon he pulls? Just, wait it out and Hope it’s not a gun? (It was a knife btw) And if it was a gun and he shoots a bunch of cops and innocent bystanders, would the NBA wear the cops’ names on their jerseys? No, they wouldn’t. We probably wouldn’t even hear about it. Would the NHL postpone games? I highly doubt it. A white cop was shot point blank in Vegas during the BLM protest, by a black man, the cop’s name is Shay. Did you hear about that? Is his name on any jerseys? Did we cancel anything for him? Did any of the teams contribute to his family as he is paralyzed for life now?
Stop defending these criminals and putting them on pedestals. If he had complied to the authorities NONE of this would have happened. NONE of it.
It is so unfortunate the way it all went down, BUT, This isn’t a race issue. It’s an asshole issue. Jacob Blake was being an asshole and his actions determined the outcome

It's not about BLM, or riots, or looting, or Russia, or impeachment, Wuhan flu, masks, quarrentines or voter suppression...its all about the left's hatred for Donald J. Trump. He wants to drain the swamp and that has the loonies heads exploding. He's exposing the corruption and all their dirty secrets, so they are doing everything they can to discredit him. It's only going to get worse before Nov 3rd I'm afraid.

I don't think after Nov 3rd is going to be all that calm either. No matter who wins.
 
Massachusetts is making the flu vaccine mandatory for students. I guess they don't care that ALL vaccines are dangerous for some people.
Is this what we expect for a Covid vaccine?

I agree Rusty, I think that they are rushing to get a vaccine out on the market, I am going to wait and see what happens before I do anything.
 
My daughter is home schooling two of her three. She has a degree in education but teachers don't make much around here, so she works home health care.
