I just hit a bird at 80 mph, scared the piss out of me. Hit my mirror. Shattered it and slammed it into my window. Wife said it was a cloud of feathers behind me. She is following me down since she is leaving a week before me.

I hit an owl once in the dark. It hit my passenger side mirror and the entire mirror shot through the open window and hit the inside of my window and fell to my feet. It barely missed mine and my son's faces. I didn't know if it was the owl or the mirror at my feet and was freaking out until I could pull over and check it out.
