Could be worse,my granddaughter just got a 22 rifle.

All 3 of my kids received Ruger 10-22 semi auto rifles for their 16th birthday.

My grandson (16) got a shotgun( he is skeet shooting with Boy Scouts and already has a 22) , his sister (13) got a 22, their brother (11) got a 410. They are all wanting to hunt rabbits.
