Since moving to Illinois, my Jeep has been eaten alive and the wheels are beginning to show signs of surface rust. What can be done about this?

As a side note, I am also combating rust on my front bumper, and have CLR'd and scrubbed it and repainted it several times over but it keeps just rusting deeper. HELP!

Steel wool should still work, just don't scrub the paint off.

Thanks! How do I keep it from coming back? I get that I can touch up the bumper and that sucks, but on the aluminum wheels, not sure how to paint them. I guess get the paint from the dealer?

Clear coat or just wax them like you would your car. Puts a layer of protection on it.
