No nativity scene in Washington DC this year.
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Live Nativity Scene on Capitol Hill this Christmas season.
This isn't for any religious reason. They simply have not been able to find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capital.
A search for a Virgin also continues.
There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.

We had just learned how to send text messages on our new mobile phones.
She's a romantic type and a retired English Teacher of the Classics.
Me a retired Army Airborne Ranger, more of a no-nonsense guy.
One afternoon she went out to meet a friend for coffee.
She decided to send me a romantic text message and wrote:
If you are sleeping, send me your dreams
