I saw them live at the fateful December 1979 concert in Cincinnati. It was traumatic. Contrary to what the media put out, it wasn't a stampede. More like a slow crush. The people in the back thought the doors were open and began moving forward. The people in the front were crushed against the closed doors and when they FINALLY opened one door it was way too late.
