A couple years ago I put a Kenwood stereo in my old van. All of a sudden, it quit working. Neither hot wire has any power. One of the wires comes through a fuse and would operate the radio. The other is directly hot from the battery and keeps the memory. The fuse on the first one is good because the headlights are on the same fuse and they work. (I changed the fuse to be sure). The hot wires are not connected to each other anywhere. It just makes no sense.
