You do realize you've created an entry point/opening into your home/garage within 3' of a gas meter.... ?

Actualy, that IS against code.
Gas meter regulater vent adjacent to an opening!
Not a good situation at all.

Not to worry, it was framed and stucco back, just looks like a stucco box sticking out. I just spent ten minutes trying to find a picture of it on my work PC. That was on my old house about ten years ago.
