As I drive past the lake every morning on my way to town it get harder and harder to not stop and go fishing.

You don't carry a pole with you
The hill is too steep to stop on
Just to many people there already
You know for a fact that there are no fish in the lake
The 'lake' is on restricted Government property
The road is to rough/muddy for you to drive down
You just washed the truck and don't want it dirty
You have a fear that you won't catch any
You have a fear that you will catch to many
You just hate cleaning all those fish
You don't have a knife to clean them with
The fish in the lake are just too small
You only like Salmon
All your Lures are too rusty, and your worms are dried up and dead
You only like to fish at night
You're afraid the FIL will steal your fish
The FIL has your poles
You just can't spend the money for a liscense
You keep forgetting a fish net
You're in a rush to get to town for Pancakes
You are now vegan and don't want anyone to know
You ran out of sunblock lotion
You have developed a deep fear of water
You know you can just buy fish at the store
It is never Friday and you only eat fish on Friday
You don't want smelly fish in your truck from morning until you get back home
It might rain and the truck may get stuck
You all ready have too many fish in the freezer
You always think "I'll do it the next day"
Can't decide, Baked, Fried, Broiled, on a grill....
The FIL has your liscense to fish
It is alway morning when you drive by and you just don't want to have a cold beer at that time

I have no excuses.

Today I got to my building and was in so much pain it took til now for the meds to kick in well enough to get some work done. Instead of sitting here I should sit by the lake. It's almost kokanee time here anyway, probably still some good bass fishing to.

I actually got some stuff done today, look at doing a renovation on a bathroom due to some mold, I'll have to drop the ceiling and install new drywall. Picked up a check, went to the bank, washed the camper, played with the grandkid, went and voted, watched some Judge Judy...shit, I'm tired. I think it's Miller Time.
